How AI Helps With Writing and Disclosure
Some posts on this blog are written with AI's help for research, verification, or exploring different angles. The final wording of every piece is still written by me, whatever the level. To make clear how big AI's role was in each piece, I add a small badge: one in the bottom-right corner of the main image, another at the end of the post before the share buttons. The colors are graded, from white to black. I determine this level through a structured interview at every stage of writing before a post goes live, not a guess made after the fact.
Level 0 (Ai L0) White Background: This document is entirely my own work from research to final writing; any AI assistance, if used, was minor support only, and every fact in it has been verified directly against its source.
Level 1 (Ai L1) Light Grey Background: For this piece, AI helped with some early research and issue mapping; I still wrote the final wording myself from start to finish, and every fact I used has been verified directly against its original source.
Level 2 (Ai L2) Dark Grey Background: For this piece, AI played a role in research, verification, and drafting angle options; I still decided the direction of the piece and wrote the final wording myself from start to finish, with every fact I used double-checked against its original source.
Level 3 (Ai L3) Black Background: For this piece, AI played a major role, from research and verification to drafting angle options and suggesting revisions; I still decided the final direction and wrote the final wording myself from start to finish, with every fact I used still manually verified against its original source.
Whatever the color, one thing stays the same: the opinions, conclusions, and final decisions on what gets published are still mine. AI helps me work faster and more thoroughly on research, not replace the thinking process. Every fact, figure, and quote in a post is checked against its source before it goes live, not just copied from an AI summary.
